This night (4 December 2008), i moved from using the Core Forums module to the great Active Forums module by Active Modules.

I have the idea that all posts were converted over correctly, there might be some small issues though, let me know if you find any, I might be able to do something about it

How to be a part of Moogle Mate (Your Friend)?

You all might be trying to contact your long lost friends with whom you cherished your each and every moment of life but unfortunately you never are able to get to them as they and you are very busy in your lives. So here you are getting a wonderful chance to again make a contact with your friends through ‘Moogle Mate’. Moogle Mate is handled by KeenFriends.com.

· ‘Mate’ is the second option after ‘Home’.

· Click on ‘Mate’. A new screen will open up.

· Enter your user name and password if you already have a Moogle Mate account.

· If you forget your password, click on ‘Forgot Password’ option along with ‘signup’ option.

· A dashboard will appear to enter your email id so that your password will be sent to your email id.

· You can create your new account on Moogle Mate by clicking on ‘signup’ option.

· Once you click on ‘signup’, it will ask for your details to create a new Moogle Mate account.

· Suppose you want to create your account with the name ‘Isha Bhatia’, so your details will be as:

· Enter your name in the ‘First Name’ column example: ‘Dolly’

· Then enter your last name in the next ‘Last Name’ column example: ‘Arora’

· Enter date of birth say ‘November-9-1989’.

· Choose gender for example: ‘Female’.

· Choose your status either you are single, married, divorcee or in a relationship say you selected ‘Married’.

· Enter your city and then state – ‘Ludhiana’ and ‘Punjab’.

· Select your country as for example: ‘India’.

· Fill your Email address which will be used by you further for Moogle Mate login say ‘abc@yahoo.com’.

· Type a password for it which will be then used for login.

· Then you have to reenter a randomly generated text in the box shown in another textbox shown.

· You can also read ‘Terms of use’ and ‘privacy policy’.

· Click ‘I accept create my profile’.

· On Moogle Mate main page, we also have the option to navigate to Home page of Moogle by clicking on ‘Home’ option or ‘Search Anything Anywhere’.

· Or we can advertise with Moogle Mate by clicking on ‘Advertise with us’ option.

· Click on ‘Privacy’ option to read the privacy policy.

· By clicking on ‘Contact us’, you can give your feedback in four forms ‘Comments’, Suggestions, ‘feedback’, ‘Complaint’.

· Choose any option from the above shown four options.

· Enter your email id where you can also receive replies.

· Enter your name (Full name).

· In the message textbox, enter your views regarding Moogle Mate.

· Click ‘Submit’ button below.

· By clicking on ‘View Profile’ option, you have a privilege to view any person’s profile on Moogle Mate by selecting his/her name.

How to send Free SMS through Moogle?

SMS ‘short messages service’ incurs a huge cost by the customers using cell phones. Using SMS facility on Moogle, it is free of cost. You can easily send SMS in any part of India without spending any money. Within just few steps you can send a number of SMS from Moogle:

· The sixth and the last option from the top left corner of Moogle page, we have the option of SMS.

· Click on SMS.

· A separate window will open up.

· You have to first login with Moogle before sending any SMS.

· Either click on Login button on the top of the message sending box or when you’ll try to send the message without login, a login dialogue box will open.

· By clicking on login option, a separate screen will appear where you will enter your user id and password.

· If you already have an account, just login to that but if u do not have an account on Moogle create it using ‘Create New Account’ option.

· If you try to send an SMS the other way without login, a dashboard will appear and will ask you to login first.

· Suppose you login with user id ‘abc@seasiaconsulting.com’.

· Enter Recipient’s number in the textbox.

· Enter your 90 characters message in message textbox.

· You have to verify the code by writing it in the textbox along with shown in the black pane.

· The code in black is NOT case sensitive.

· If the code you entered does not match with the one given there, it will ask you to enter another code again.

· At last click ‘Send SMS’ button.

· After your message has been sent, you will receive a confirmation on your screen as shown below:

· Below on the left hand side of this page, given are the tools and tips to send SMS from Moogle.

I apologize for the possible off-topic. Guys, could you tell me which web hosting company you are using at the moment? I have a problem because my current web hosting company hostrator.com is kicking me off. They say that our website is using too many server resources. But our website only gets 300 visitors per day..

Anyway, what would be your recommendations? Are you happy with your web hosting providers?

I am checking http://www.hosting24.com/ at the moment, but is it real that they can provide unlimited disk space?
I have contacted them and they say something like "1000GB disk drive costs only $30 per month, so if some day we will start running out of disk space we will simply add a new 1000GB drive so can continue uploading..".

What do you think about it? Any ideas and web hosting company name suggestions are much appreciated.

Where is sale in the city it is very difficult to search? But now this is very easy to search. Because I have explored a New Search Engine which provides all types of information. So it is easy.

Transmenu?

I hope things are going well for you! I am in the process of starting the Spanish translation of PokerDIY and have been looking at the various options . It seems like:

EALO does not do page descriptions and keywords (my mine driver is for SEO benefit), Number 3 uses a cloned site architecture which is too much for my site size and number 4 does not sound like it works well with URL Master as it hacks URLs.

My question is (sorry if it is a stupid one!) – will your software work with the Telerik Rad menu I use on PokerDIY?

Item title and url wrong in search results

Hi Erik

I've a problem on a DNN 05.01.02 with en-US and de-DE.
PageLocalization 5.0.7, ModuleLocalization 3.0.1, MLHTML 2.0.6, MLAdvAnnouncements 2.0.1 and installed but not used MLLanguageSelector 3.0.2.

The search itself is working for both languages. But the items are displayed wrong, the title is coming from dbo.Tabs and the url contains double language information.

Getting pretty frustrated

About a month ago I posted here with a problem I was experiencing with the Quick Search module. I posted again, and emailed support@appollo-software.nl a couple times. I have yet to receive a response to any of my inquiries. I'd like to get this module running as it looks like it will be great for us but so far I'm a little dissapointed with the support. I sincerely hope to get a response from the developer or anyone else that may be able to point me in the right direction.

Hi Erik,
am needing to make some new DNN installations, and want to move up from DNN 4.5.5 which I am using now, to a newer version. I use the ML set of modules extensively, and want to know if you have a chart/table showing what versions the the ML system has been tested with so I know how far up the tree I can upgrade.

The only other non-core module I am using is Google Search by mandeeps.com.

Search Engines and ML content

Hi Erik,
just ran into an issue with mulitilingual content and search engines.

we use your ML modules for one site and I am working on 2 new sites that will use them. What happens to search engines when they try to mark a page with content in a language that the visitor from that language does not have their browser set to?

for instance: a page with content in 6 languages, the search found a Spanish page whose indexed content brings it up in a spanish search on google. when they come to my site, the url has no information about the culture/language of the page, so if their browser is set to English, they will see the english content instead.

on your help page it looks like you have the links stored with the culture encoded on the URL (en-us). On our americas.wycliffe.net site this encoding is on the url when the language is first chosen but after that it seems to travel in the postback, which works fine for a live current visitor, but I can't see how it will work with a search engine's stored link.

is there a way to turn on having the culture setting always passed on the URL string?

A few months ago I bought pagelocalization 2.0 and MLanguageselector 2.2 for dnn 4.9.

Now I want to install dnn 5.0 and I understand that these modules can't be used anymore.

First... How far is development on these components for dnn 5.x or what components should I use? ( available on snowcovered? )

Second... Will these new components be free to customers that bought the older versions ( I think I read this somwhere, not sure )

Hi all,
I have installed DotNetNuke 5.0, and I want to add the third party control FriendlyUrlProvider to it, but there seems not be fitting version of FriendlyUrlProvider for DNN 5.0, when I wanted to install the FriendlyUrlProvider 4.x to DNN 5.0, some exceptions rised up.
Anybody can help me on this?
