Hi Erik,

here is my problem: I use one MLAnnouncements module on two tabs. On the first tab with the "Default view" set to "Current", on the other tab set to "All". This way I want to have the module working on same data but on one page only the current announcements displayed and on the other all of them displayed.

But the "Default view" somehow acts as a ModuleSetting instead of TabModuleSetting when I enable caching. So on both tabs I get the same view, either All or Current, depending on which of the modules was updated last. When using no cache (e.g. when logged in), it works just fine. I have also checked the DB and there are correct vaules for "defaultViewType".

Can you give me a hint please?

Thanks,
Ondrej

i will have to look into this. AFAIK module caching works per TabModuleID, but with a bit of bad luck it works by ModuleId, in which case this issue is not a simple one to solve.

Thanks a lot!
Meanwhile, can you think of a work-around for this problem? E.g. how to have two different MLAnn. modules (therefore different ModuleIDs) working with the same data?
