I'm using Gloss Skin in my site with PageLocalizatione, I followed the process to replace the controls to Multi Language controls as follow :

MLBREADCRUMB - replaces core BREADCRUMB skin object
MLMENU - replaces core MENU / SOLPARTMENU skinobject
MLPAGETITLE - replaces core PAGETITLE skinobject
MLTREEVIEW - replaces core TREEVIEW skinobject
MLNAV - replaces core NAV skinobject

I applied the changes on my selected skins files which are :

flash_WhiteBG_Boxed_TopMenu.ascx
default_WhiteBG_Boxed_TabMenu

the result was really bad, I guess there is something wrong with the Menu, I dont know if you are using the core DNN SOLPARTMENU or a modified one, please help me to find a solution for this ....

just switch the languge to Arabic and you'll see what I'm talkin about ....

I already talked to GlossSkin creators BIND (www.bind.pt) but they didn't reply back yet ...

By the way, this is an issue on Explorer 8 ..

Please appreciate the fact that PageLocalization ONLY translates the menu items. Other than that there are NO changes that impact rendering. I would be surprised if the original skin would present no issues when using Arabic language. Also, please understand that the Solpart Menu is deprecated, you (or rather your skin designer) should really use NavMenu, as that is more up to todays standards. Also, you might try menus such as Snapsis Navmenu, which performs quite nicely.



Remember, pagelocalization is not a SKINNING solution, it is a translation solution which has zero impact on skinning. I would urge you to keep trying to contact the vendor of the skin, or perhaps start looking for a different skin vendor that can help you.



Finally, we do offer skinning services, but that would take the price of your skin in the custom skin range, which is between €1000 and €2000….
