sorry for the late reply.

can you clarify your problem please? Did you put all the required skin objects in your skin? (including MLPAGETITLE)?

Im using the tool DotNetNuke to build my site, and its already in production.

But the problem its that when I change my language to english the title is not translating.

I bought the module in snowcovered and just upload it to DNN, my version its 5.4.4 and I just add to a page the module(Page localization)

I dont understand very well your answer but if you give me a personal mail y can give you a host user and password to my page so you can entere and take a look arround.

Regards

Diego,

maybe I can help. After you added the page localization module to a page did you then use it to put in the translated page names?

What skin are you using on your site? Does the skin use ML skin objects or the default DNN ones?

can you post your URL so we can look at it?

Thank you very much Robert,

This are the steps that I did to put the module page localization in my portal.

Firts I uploaded the module

Then I create the page of content

Then I put the module in the page, and it works fine.

Im using the 360DNN menu, thats why I bought the apollo module for the translation of the titles.

The page its www.dominion.mx

The skin we made it cutomized and we dont know why the site became so slow after we put the 360DNN module. I think that the problem may be the Apollo and the interaction with the 360DNN Menu.

Thank you for your help.

Diego,

I had a look at your site and everything seemed to be working correctly. When I switched from English to Castellano the menus and page content all switched to the correct language.

Are you talking about the names in the URL? (example: http://www.dominion.mx/UnidadesdeNegocio/Soluciones/Comunicaciones.aspx) If so, then you should now that the Page names in the URL do not change, they only use the value in the DNN tabs table not the values in the Apollo table.

the next version of DNN (5.5.?) will have better support for localization of pages built in but I wouldn't recommend upgrading until a few revisions of 5.5 have gone through.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Robert

I think that you miss understand me.

Im refering to the page title, not the URL.

I understand that the URL canot change, but if you look close to the page, for exmple, when you are in Spanish version it says in the main page INICO and in the page title say Dominion>Inicio.

And if you change the language to English its supposed to say Dominon > Start but instead say the same Dominion > Inicio, Thats the only problem that I have with the module, the translation of the site work fine with the other stuff.

Am I clear? Or If you want I can send you some pictures if you give me an E-Mail.

Regards.

Diego

Diego,

Sorry for the confusion. For the Page title, are you using the skin object MLPAGETITLE in your skin?

(see http://www.apollo-software.nl/Default.aspx?tabid=79) If not, hopefully that will fix your issue once you make the change in the skin..
